About Beatriz Fedele

Beatriz is originally from Spain but has lived in San Antonio, TX for the past 20 years. In 2019, Beatriz and her family had the opportunity to move and live in Germany for 3 years. Their plans to explore their new surroundings were interrupted by the global pandemic.

However, during that time period when cities and tourist locations were empty and quiet, Beatriz’s paintings of intimate street corners, alleys, and ancient buildings were born. Although many of her paintings depict European cityscapes, she tries to isolate them from a sense of time and place so the viewer can immerse themselves and take in the beauty.

Beatriz graduated from the Southwest School of Art in 2010. For the past several years, Beatriz has taught watercolor painting while evolving her artistic style. Her artwork has been individually collected throughout the U.S., Mexico and Spain and can also be found in corporate collections including The Robert B. Green Medical Center.

Additionally, Beatriz is a mother to two beautiful children. When she is not painting in her home studio, you can find her gardening, reading and playing with her miniature Dachshund dog named Luna.
